生公说法的典故

晋末高僧竺道生15岁就登坛讲法，20岁上庐山讲授佛法，成为江南的佛学大师，他潜心研究刚传入中国的《涅槃经》，参悟到其中的奥妙，得出“人人皆可成佛”的理论推断，因此被逐出庐山，他流浪到苏州虎丘山讲法，顽石都为之点头。
