蓝田生玉的典故

三国时，东吴大将军诸葛瑾，字子瑜。他有个儿子叫诸葛恪（ke），从小聪明伶俐，口才极好，善于言辞，孙权对这孩子很宠爱。

有一次，孙权在朝廷设宴，六岁的诸葛恪随父参加。诸葛瑾的脸长得特别长，孙权想开他的玩笑，乘着酒兴，命人牵来一头毛驴，在驴的长脸上写了“诸葛子瑜”四个字，借以讥讽诸葛瑾脸长似驴。众人见了，捧腹大笑，诸葛瑾也感到很尴尬。诸葛恪见了，走到孙权席前，跪请添写二字。孙权命人将笔拿来给他。诸葛恪在“诸葛子瑜”四字后面添写了“之驴”二字，这样就成了“诸葛子瑜之驴”。满座大臣见了无不惊讶叹服，孙权见诸葛恪如此机敏，十分高兴，当场把毛驴赏赐给他。

又有一次，孙权问诸葛恪：“你父亲和你叔父诸葛亮相比，到底是谁高明？”诸葛恪答道：“我父亲高明。”

孙权要他说出因由，他不假思索地说：“我父亲懂得事奉明主，而我叔父却不懂得这个道理，当然是我父亲高明。”

孙权对诸葛瑾说道：“人们都说蓝田生美玉，名门生贤良，真是名不虚传呀！”
