南宋时期，秀才俞良步行8千里到达京城杭州应试，结果名落孙山，他身无分文，就到杭州西湖边作鹊桥仙词然后准备自杀被救。太上皇在梦中认定俞良是人才，派人到旅店找他，吓得店主孙婆面如土色，俞良从此被封为大官。
