凿空指鹿的典故

秦末宦官赵高在秦始皇病故后假传圣旨命扶苏自杀，立胡亥为太子，他还想篡夺帝位，特地把一匹鹿当马送给秦二世胡亥，胡亥说是鹿，赵高叫胡亥问群臣。群臣有些迫于丞相赵高的势力违心说是鹿，只有部分说是鹿的大臣后被赵高所害。
