画眉举案的典故

汉朝时张敞身为高官仍坚持每天为妻子画眉毛。东汉书生梁鸿与孟光结婚，婚后他们抛弃孟家的富裕生活，到霸陵山区隐居，后来帮皋伯通打短工。每次孟光给梁鸿送饭时把托盘举得跟眉毛一样高，眉来眼去，夫妻十分恩爱。
