慈明无双的典故

汉朝时期，荀爽，字慈明，自幼特别好学。12岁时就能精通《春秋》及《论语》，太尉杜乔见了他十分佩服，称赞他可以当别人的老师了。他还能理解经书中的精妙之处，而他的七个兄弟都不能如此。因此别人说他“荀氏八龙，慈明无双。”
