东汉时期，郑玄从师于孔融，深受孔融的喜爱，夸他能真正带走他的学问。郑玄征对学者何休的《公羊墨守》、《左氏膏肓》等文章写《墨守》、《废疾》来发表自己的意见，击中要害。何休看后感叹地说：“郑玄进了我的屋子操起我的矛来讨伐我！”
