敝帚千金的成语故事

敝帚千金的典故

东汉初年，光武帝刘秀派大司马吴汉与征南大将军岑彭去攻打在成都称帝的公孙述，汉军进兵神速，与公孙述进行了殊死搏斗才攻占成都，吴汉下令屠城。刘秀指责他，说老百姓家里有破扫帚也价值千金，不能掠夺他们的财产失去民心。
