漆身吞炭的典故

春秋末期，晋国内乱，大夫赵襄子杀了大夫智伯。智伯的心腹家将豫让发誓要杀赵襄子，他潜入赵襄子的宅内行刺未遂。赵襄子佩服他的义气把他放了。第二次他把全身漆成癞子，然后吞下烧红的炭使声音变哑，再次去行刺未遂而自杀。
