引狼入室的典故

有个牧羊人在山谷里放羊。他看见远远地有只狼跟着，就时刻提防着。几个月过去了，狼只是远远地跟着，并没有靠近羊群，更没有伤害一只羊。牧羊人渐渐地对狼放松了戒心。后来，牧羊人觉得狼跟在羊群后面有好处，不用再提防别的野兽了。再后来，他索性把狼当成了牧羊狗，叫它看管羊群。牧羊人见狼把羊管得很好，心里想，人们都说狼最坏，我看不见得……

有一天，牧羊人有事要进城去，就把羊群托狼看管，狼答应了。狼估计牧羊人已经进城了，就冲着山林中大声嚎叫了几声。它的嚎叫声引来了许许多多、大大小小的狼。那群羊全被狼吃掉了。

牧羊人不了解狼的本性，才被狼的伪善欺骗了。成语“引狼入室”比喻把坏人引进内部。
