南郭处士的成语故事

基本解释《韩非子·内储说上》：“齐宣王使人吹竽，必三百人。南郭处士请为王吹竽，宣王说之，廪食以数百人。宣王死，氵昬王立，好一一听之，处士逃。”后用以比喻无真正的才干而混在行家里面充数的人。参见“滥竽充数”。

南郭处士的典故

战国时期，齐国的国王非常喜欢听吹竽合奏，好吃懒做的南郭先生想办法混进了乐队，他不懂装懂、摇头晃脑，装出一幅行家的样子。不久老国王死后，新国王喜欢听吹竽独奏，南郭先生这下心虚了，害怕会露馅就连夜逃出了皇宫。
