南朝人江泌小时家贫，白天要帮助家里做些杂活维持生计，晚上他抓紧时间来学习，由于买不起烛火，就只有站在月光底下读书，月亮西坠。他爬上梯子接着读，经常因困倦从梯子上摔下，爬起来后接着读书。
