楚虽三户，亡秦必楚的典故

秦朝末期，陈胜吴广起义，各路义军纷纷配合，项梁率军攻秦。范增去拜见项梁说：“秦灭六国，楚国最冤，楚南公说过楚国即使只剩下三户人家都会报仇雪恨消灭秦国的。”于是项梁立楚怀王的孙子米心为楚怀王，得到楚人的拥护而迅速壮大实力。
