唾壶击缺的成语故事

基本解释亦作“唾壶敲缺”。南朝宋刘义庆《世说新语·豪爽》：“王处仲（王敦）每酒后辄咏‘老骥伏枥，志在千里。烈士暮年，壮心不已’。以如意打唾壶，壶口尽缺。”后以“唾壶击缺”或“唾壶敲缺”形容心情忧愤或感情激昂。

唾壶击缺的典故

晋朝时期，大将军王敦对时局十分关切，常忧国忧民，每次喝完酒后总是吟咏曹操的诗句：“老骥伏枥，志在千里。烈士暮年，壮心不已。”一边吟咏一边用如意敲打唾壶，壶口都给敲破了。
