逾淮之橘的典故

春秋时期，齐国大夫晏婴奉命出使楚国，楚王见他矮小就嘲笑他，抓一个小偷说是齐国人。晏婴回答说：“人们都知道橘树逾淮为枳，齐国人到楚国来成为小偷，环境改变而已。”巧妙地应对楚王。楚王刮目相看，改用高规格接待他。
