不修边幅的典故

西汉末年，隗嚣派马援去四川联合公孙述共同对付刘秀。马援与公孙述是同乡要好，而公孙述嫌马援不修边幅，派官员送去官服，装出皇帝的架子，马援十分不悦就去投奔刘秀，见刘秀有雄才大略，就去洛阳投奔他，后来他屡立战功，被封为伏波将军。
