春秋时期，宓子贱在亶父担任地方官。三年后，巫马旗微服去亶父私访，看见一个渔夫夜晚打鱼，把打上来的鱼又扔回河里，就好奇地问他为什么要这样。渔夫回到说宓子贱不准人捕捞小鱼。巫马旗回去对孔子说宓子贱的教化到位，人们自觉遵行。
