战国时期，战国七雄齐、楚、燕、韩、赵、魏、秦内部之间的斗争十分激烈。七国中秦、楚势力强大，魏、韩、赵、燕、齐等国为了自身的利益，游离在这两国之间，时而靠近秦国，时而靠近楚国，一班政治说客奔走在这些诸侯国之间。
