不毛之地的成语故事

不毛之地的典故

公元前597年，楚庄王率军攻打郑国，占领郑国的首都，郑襄公见彻底完蛋，只好光着膀子向楚庄王跪地求和，答应郑国土地可以划给楚国，郑人做楚人的奴隶，只恳求给一块不毛之地度过余生。楚庄王见郑襄公真诚悔过，就答应了他的求和要求。
