楚国有个专管祭祀的官员，春祭以后倒一杯酒给手下人，因人多酒少不够分，就想出谁先画好蛇就喝酒的办法，有一个人第一个把蛇画好了，见其他人还没有画完，就在已画好的蛇上加了两只脚，让人啼笑皆非。
