冯梦祯（1548—1606），字开之，号具区，又号真实居士，浙江秀水（今嘉兴）人。著名的佛教居士。 明代诗人。公元1577年（明万历五年）进士，官编修，与沈懋学、屠隆以气节相尚。后因得罪宰相张居正，被外谪广德州判，复又累迁南国子监祭酒，3年后被劾罢官，遂不复出。移家杭州，筑室于孤山之麓。因家藏王羲之《快雪时晴帖》，遂以此名其堂为“快雪”。冯梦祯为人高旷，好读书，好奖掖后学。诗文疏朗通脱，不事刻镂。著有《快雪堂集》64卷、《快雪堂漫录》1卷、《历代贡举志》等。
