（1848—1903）直隶丰润人，字幼樵，一字绳庵，又字篑斋。同治十年进士，擢侍讲。光绪间官侍讲学士，署左都副御史。以纠弹大臣名著一时。中法战争期间会办福建军务，马尾之役，以戒备不严，舰队、船厂被毁，乃逃避乡间。褫职戍边。后释还，入李鸿章幕。佐办庚子议和。旋称疾不出。有《涧于集》、《涧于日记》。
