方鹤斋（1852—1940），名旭，鹤斋其号。安徽桐城县人。桐城派古文家。历任四川省夔州知府，留日学生监督、省学务处提督、省提学使、川东道台。为官清正，大力倡办新式学堂。因喜爱成都风物，遂家焉，竟成“成都五老”之一。诗、书、画皆善。今存《鹤斋诗存》、《鹤斋文存》，皆门人以寿金刊印。
