海陵孝子身姓袁，弱年丧父母独存。阖门老稚百十指，怡愉日夕同盘飧。
前年盗贼掠州县，通州泰州涨烟焰。玉石处处俱荡焚，母子家家不相见。
袁携妻女负母行，妻流女离难为情。未论妻女得相保，且负老母逃馀生。
女泣父母妇泣姑，父觅妻女妻觅夫。女妻子母复相见，喜悲交集气始苏。
苍生不解皇天意，泰否剥复常相继。非因袁子有纯诚，岂使一门全孝义。
嗟尔袁子孝且慈，世人已识天已知。他年骢马访民俗，海陵为我陈此诗。

字子渊，庆元路人。生卒年均不详，约元惠宗至元中前后在世。生平事迹不详。著有子渊诗集六卷，《四库总目》多与遒贤、杨维桢、张雨、危素、袁华、周焕文、韩性、乌本良斯道兄弟倡和之作。古诗冲澹，颇具陶韦风格。
