童童学士，据《蒙兀儿史记·阿术传》和《新元史·卜怜吉歹传》，童童乃河南王阿术之孙，河南王卜怜吉歹之子，蒙古族，兀歹兀良孩氏。其祖、父武功显赫。童童弃武从文，为集贤侍讲学士，阶中奉大夫。泰定间迁河南行省平章。据《元史·泰定帝纪》，泰定四年（一三二七）八月壬辰"御史李昌言：'河南行省平章政事童童，世官河南，大为奸利，请徙他镇'"因迁江浙平章政事。
