王天性（一五二六—一六○九），字则衷，号槐轩，晚年别号半憨。汕头外砂镇林厝村人。明世宗嘉靖三十一年（一五五二）举人。官盱眙县教谕、丰城县令、上高县令、南昌府通判。穆宗隆庆二年（一五六八），以忤上司早赋归田，肆志于山水诗酒间，尝作《半憨先生传》以自况。著有《半憨集》。清冯奉初《潮州耆旧集》卷一六、吴道镕《广东文徵作者考》卷四有传。王天性诗，以清宣宗道光二十六年（一八四六）成式堂藏版《半憨集》卷上所收《澄海金砂王槐轩先生遗草》为底本。
