忆昔弘治间，米鲁妖妇起。虔刘我民人，蹂躏我边鄙。
藩镇不度时，提兵欲湔洗。万骑渡盘江，列营劄山里。
自谓鞭虽长，不及马腹耳。岂知徵侧奸，凶暴虎狼似。
夜半鼓噪来，营骑尽披靡。藩镇就缚束，半成鱼肉糜。
师徒弃甲兵，亡命赴江水。有如倒戈势，江水皆赤紫。
又如武安残，尽陷一坑死。至今行者过，骷髅作人语。
秽气熏穹壤，水声悲不止。惟我皇赫怒，命将征师旅。
一鼓胁从降，再鼓魁渠缢。草木回光辉，报功雪前耻。
嗟兵以毒民，贵在不得已。不戢将自焚，舆尸乃弟子。
今观太平久，疮痍犹未愈。三苗本犬羊，要之在抚理。
抚后虐则雠，古今无二致。作诗告仆夫，兵事勿轻启。
