岭南逢元日，客子心悲伤。旁观谬测度，谓我思故乡。
故乡虽云远，可以理归装。况自入山来，泉石慰膏肓。
同行三数人，形迹亦想忘。晨起但一揖，随意倾壶觞。
贺客概无有，酬应息奔忙。转觉此间乐，在家徒皇皇。
所悲竟何事，欲写先徬徨。念自癸卯后，木饥金不穰。
陕西三岁旱，河南五岁荒。牛无一束藁，有如坟首羊。
耕无可耕处，屠以充饥肠。十室去其半，半死半流亡。
戊申乃大熟，禾黍幸登场。窃谓脱此厄，六幕臻平康。
岂知是岁夏，大水竟汪洋。或云洞庭湖，白昼日无光。
中有数龙斗，莫辨赤白黄。腥风挟浊浪，万鼓声雷硠。
一涌高于山，一泻何可当。混混湖与江，茫茫荆讫扬。
翼轸斗牛间，气湿如银潢。去年水更大，发难仍沅湘。
所决失堤堰，所浸蔑城隍。江宁地颇高，钟阜几怀襄。
别有浙西水，顶潮趋钱塘。加以百日雨，势欲无余杭。
浙之杭嘉湖，北达苏松常。又北为镇江，财赋甲他方。
岁额千余万，地丁兼白粮。次如湖南北，安徽及豫章。
亦俱供飞挽，亦且赖输将。一浸数千里，何者为苞稂。
无米入漕运，何以实京仓。灾民极可悯，苦况不可详。
有屋在水中，渺不见屋梁。爷娘儿女子，托命于舟航。
嗷嗷中泽鸿，于何谋稻粱。死者委沟壑，存者犹羸尪。
天下有大命，官仓有常平。常平久无实，社仓亦虚名。
欲籴无可籴，议籴徕远商。巴蜀米价贱，千里连帆樯。
道远风涛恶，贩到价则昂。有钱犹可买，无钱空踉跄。
欲赈无可赈，驰奏叩天阊。批章下户部，司农询曹郎。
频年逋赋多，灾区例缓征。金屡颁大库，钱并支水衡。
昔有盈无缩，今有缩无盈。虽有缩无盈，犹且别筹量。
通融资挹注，一滴亦天浆。去年干在己，今年干在庚。
今年第一日，日食令人惊。午刻历未刻，计食五分赢。
二气绾橐籥，日者太阳精。履端重首祚，元日记新正。
而乃遭此变，能勿心怦怦。熙朝大一统，骏业天所昌。
幅员廊无外，宝箓尤灵长。下自元明宋，上溯虞陶唐。
六代六圣人，从古见未尝。今上夙敦敏，嗣服提乾纲。
四目之所运，四表咸辉煌。阅今三十载，暇食恒不遑。
所冀百君子，赤栋为干桢。堂堂位宰辅，先自笃忠贞。
大度休休然，寸心冰玉清。衮职一无阙，运量周垓纮。
六官有官守，毋偷毋纷更。言官有言责，毋噤口不鸣。
其任封疆者，赫然民所望。安民在察吏，吏有良不良。
墨吏一推排，脂膏涂橐囊。酷吏一哮吼，魂魄落锒铛。
茸吏百不理，宿牒堆满床。是皆民之蠹，得不重惩创。
奉法毋斁法，思患宜豫防。视寇攘奸宄，如猰貐豺狼。
欺君大不敬，讳盗大不祥。养痈必流毒，剜肉难补疮。
兵以练乃劲，简校肃戎行。谷以蓄乃足，句稽谨盖藏。
事事务实济，内外同匡襄。孪者毋不破，弛者毋不张。
氛翳顿豁除，险阻化康庄。闾阎获安堵，一意力农桑。
天方命百神，为民节阴阳。日雨雨时若，日旸无恒旸。
旱魃及水怪，曷敢肆狓猖。黄人行捧日，两耳垂璧珰。
天保佑天子，端拱坐明堂。泮奂尔游矣，纯嘏永无疆。
洚水儆帝尧，大旱疲成汤。从古多日食，日食亦无妨。
造化递消息，气数交纵横。剥正欲其复，晦正欲其明。
殷忧以启圣，天具有深情。圣躬则已劳，臣躬则已荣。
温饱逮僮仆，岂复别有营。葵藿小草耳，心为太阳倾。
矧人含血性，沥之即丹诚。所冀纾主忧，力与气数争。
天心非不仁，在人宜作强。毋以绕指柔，误此百鍊刚。
众心如一心，积渐通穹苍。苍苍密转移，感召非祈禳。
我固旧史氏，亦忝少司成。自顾殊碌碌，未可縻华缨。
归田曾无田，破砚聊代耕。久矣甘枯寂，万物秋毫轻。
迩来胸臆间，一丝长自萦。时事日以艰，耳目岂聋盲。
背人成此诗，不觉慨以慷。掷笔涧中泉，纵步凌苍茫。
嗒然一长啸，愁云落我旁。四山色黯惨，飞鸟为不翔。
天壤此一时，非我独伥伥。安知无烈士，仰天泪沾裳。
