今我刺舟康郎曲，舟前老翁走且哭。蒙袂赤跣剑小男，问之与我涕相续。
饶州城南旧姓子，出入辇人被华服。岂知醉饱有时尽，晚遭乱离日枵腹。
往年县官沈与李，仓卒教民执弓槊。长男二十视贼轻，两官俱死死亦足。
去年始见防东军，三月筑城废耕牧。军中夜嚣书又哗，往往潜占山村宿。
后来将军毕金科，能奔虏卒如豕鹿。饶人亡归再团练，中男白晰时十六。
将军马号连钱总，授儿揃剔刍苜蓿。此马迎陈健如虎，将军雷吼马电逐。
昨怒追风景德镇，但膊千人去不复。将军无身有血食，马后吾儿鸟啄肉。
命当战死那望生，如此雄师惜摧衄。不然拒璧城东头，棘手谁能拔五岳？
蜀黔骑士绝猛激，守戍胡令简书促。郡人已无好肌肤，莫再相惊堕鸡谷。
此时老翁仰吞声，舌卷入喉眼血瞠。衣敝踵穿不自救，原客且念怀中婴。
呜呼谁知此翁痛，羸老无力操州兵。山云莽莽燐四出，湖上黑波明素旌。
大帅一肩系百城，一将柱折东南倾。我入无家出忧国，对翁兀兀伤难平。
筐饭劳翁勿涕零，穷途吾属皆偷生。

高心夔（1835～1883）原名高梦汉，字伯足，号碧湄，又号陶堂、东蠡，江西湖口县城山乡高大屋村人。咸丰九年进士，两次考试都因在“十三元”一韵上出了差错，被摈为四等，后官吴县知县。工诗文，善书，又擅篆刻，著有《陶堂志微录》。高心夔与王闿运、龙汝霖、李寿蓉和黄锡焘曾为清末宗室贵族肃顺的幕府，号称“肃门五君子”。
