此城自昔涸无水，物换星移屡迁徙。谁知德慧有真源，旧城新城同不死。
狡哉蒙渠善悔后，明识妃名传不朽。德源肇锡虽自仇，德源之称盈人口。
我闻李毅有女名云秀，父死保城殄夷寇。至今人称天女城，德源无乃辉先后。
成败讵足论英雄，忘仇负义真遗臭。更有阿南夫死身自焚，名先宁北青史闻。
星回六月燃松炬，南与北与说纷纷。不列寒食禁烟火，义取光焰烛滇云。
我来邓赕考前志，父老犹能谈遗事。四诏同冤松明楼，铁钏约臂何其智。
舁归窀穸妃之仁，守城誓死勇且义。四德既具四维张，焉用城头树灵帜。
夫人城今安在哉？德源名桥为妃识。德源桥下沵苴江，千载源流永不匮。

牛焘（1794～1861）字涵万，丽江人，拔贡生，历任镇沅、安宁、邓川、罗平教官，有《寄秋轩稿》，家饶于赀而标寄萧然，蓄一雷氏琴，自谱新曲被之弦轸，同时马之龙能吹铁笛，郡中有“牛琴马笛”之目。咸、同之乱，焘避之山洞中，抱琴而死。剑川赵藩辑其诗七十余首刊入《丽郡诗征》中。
