西晋安平人，字景阳。张载弟。少有俊才，与载齐名。辟公府掾，转秘书郎，转河间内史，在郡清简寡欲。时大乱，遂弃绝人事，屏居草泽，以吟咏自娱，造语清新。怀帝永嘉初，征黄门侍郎，托疾不就，卒于家。有《七命》，世以为工。今有《张景阳集》辑本。
