宋中创作背景
公元八世纪中叶，宋中的治所雎阳曾发生过一场感天地、泣鬼神的战斗——睢阳保卫战，唐朝中兴名臣张巡、许远，在此地与安史叛军进行了殊死的搏斗，立下了不世之功。由于兵燹，乱后的宋中特别荒凉，耿湋此诗即反映了这荒凉景象。

耿湋 [唐] （约公元七六三年前后在世），字洪源，河东（今属山西）人，唐代诗人。生卒年及生平均不详，约公元七六三年前后在世，大历十才子之一。登宝应元年进士第，官右拾遗。工诗，与钱起、卢纶、司空曙诸人齐名。湋诗不深琢削，而风格自胜。集三卷，今编诗二卷。
