（1586—1637）明湖广竟陵人，字友夏。天启七年乡试第一。后赴京试，卒于旅店。善诗文，名重一时，与钟惺同为竟陵派创始者。论文强调性灵，反对摹古，追求幽深孤峭，所作亦流于僻奥冷涩。曾与钟惺共评选《唐诗归》、《古诗归》。自著有《岳归堂集》、《谭友夏合集》等。
