扫芳林。几番风雨，匆匆老尽春禽。渐薄润侵衣不断，嫩凉随扇初生。晚窗自吟。
沈沈。幽径芳寻。晻霭苔香帘净，萧疏竹影庭深。谩淡却蛾眉，晨妆慵扫，宝钗虫散，绣屏鸾破，当时暗水和云泛酒，空山留月听琴。料如今。门前数重翠阴。
八六子·扫芳林鉴赏
王沂孙的这首词作就是一篇有着广阔的审美空间的作品。
“扫芳林，几番风雨，匆匆老尽春禽。”是对暮春景象的描绘。经历了几番风雨摧折的芳林已失去了往日的新鲜，连栖息其中的春禽也衰老了几许。
“渐薄润侵衣不断，嫩凉随扇初生。晚窗自吟。”是写诗人暮春之夜的感受：诗人临窗自吟，拂动罗扇，暮大公报湿润轻轻地漫上了衣襟。从笔调上看已由开头的沉郁向轻松过渡。
“沈沈，幽径芳寻。晻霭苔香帘净，萧疏竹影庭深。”这几句转入怀人，全是虚拟语气。诗人想，暮霭降临之际，意中人的居地一定是竹影横斜，庭院深深，洁净的珠帘正拂动着散发轻香的青苔，而她，也许正沿着花木扶疏的幽径独自徘徊。
“谩淡却蛾眉，晨妆慵扫，宝钗虫散，绣屏鸾破。”这几句写意中人的百无聊赖。
“当时暗水和云泛酒，空山留月听琴。”诗人由意中人寂寞凄楚的环境转入已往情事的回忆。
“料如今，门前数重翠阴。”以景作结，含蓄而有兴味。诗人以意中人门前的翠阴渐深渐浓，暗示时光流逝，相会无期。因此，虽无一个情字，但无处不有情在，虽无一个恨字，但无处不有恨在，真是“道似无情却有情！”
