康熙天子神圣姿，驾驭英雄兵不黩。每因缵武勤校猎，远致奇毛比臣仆。
紫荆关外秋气高，狐兔宁容草间伏。腥风霍霍满天地，白日无光散原陆。
扬旃表貉出从禽，王用三驱力争戮。是时海青更精悍，臂出绿鞲调养熟。
翻身一去高没云，注目秋空走马逐。蹄间十丈莽开阔，蓦过林峦跃坑谷。
忽看天半挟天鹅，奔电流星下投速。羽林健儿拍手笑，奏凯不烦遗矢镞。
却来敛融复依人，仍以黄绦掣双足。三时饲养一朝用，如许恩波等休沐。
奉先性在饥附人，定远功成飞食肉。不知给俸视几品，肥瘦论斤常量腹。
生牛乍割血犹红，小鸟一吹毛尽秃。见人作势俄耸肩，独立有时还侧目。
无端对此我心恻，相向移时额颦蹙。狮儿瞰虎鱼食虾，吞噬成风伤末俗。
生意渐微真可叹，杀机欲动休轻触。以仁易暴古所去，恃猛争强非汝福。
我愿皇天仁百物，常产凤凰生鸑鷟。自然郊薮萃祯祥，盛世多珍四灵畜。

查慎行（1650～1727） 清代诗人，当代著名作家金庸先祖。初名嗣琏，字夏重，号查田；后改名慎行，字悔余，号他山，赐号烟波钓徒，晚年居于初白庵，所以又称查初白。海宁袁花（今属浙江）人。康熙四十二年(1703)进士；特授翰林院编修，入直内廷。五十二年（1713），乞休归里，家居10余年。雍正四年（1726），因弟查嗣庭讪谤案，以家长失教获罪，被逮入京，次年放归，不久去世。查慎行诗学东坡、放翁，尝注苏诗。自朱彝尊去世后，为东南诗坛领袖。著有《他山诗钞》。
