舒元舆（791-835）字升远。婺州东阳上卢泉塘北人（又说浙江婺州兰溪垷坦人），其先祖曾任东阳郡守，祖父舒缜，授兰溪医学学训导、学正父敬之，母薛氏，其为长子。唐代大臣、诗人，唐元和八年（813）进士，初仕即以干练知名。曾任刑、兵两部侍郎，唐文宗时期两位宰相之一（兰溪历史上第一位官至宰相的人），另一宰相为李训，擅长写文章，有著作《舒元舆集》等，有作品被收录于《全唐诗》。舒元舆曾作《牡丹赋》，时人认为写得好。后来唐文宗赏牡丹时，吟诵其中词句，为舒元舆落泪哀悼。
