大唐三百六十州，我暂放閒乘兴游。瞬息之间知事尽，若论入理更深幽。
共外知识呷清水，总是妄想无骨头。却归东西山道去，不舍因缘骑牯牛。
后望青山平似掌，前瞻汉水水东流。试问西域那提子，遗法慇勤无所求。
自入大海归火宅，不觉乘空失却牛。有人见我归东土，我本元居西海头。
来去自然无障碍，出入生死有何忧。

庞蕴（生卒不详） 字道玄，又称庞居士，唐衡阳郡（今湖南省衡阳市）人。禅门居士，被誉称为达摩东来开立禅宗之后“白衣居士第一人”，素有“东土维摩”之称。有关他的公案时见于禅家开示拈提中，以作为行者悟道的重要参考。其传世的偈颂（迄今流传近200首）以模拟佛经偈语的风格，殷殷嘱咐学佛者修行的依归，在唐朝白话诗派中以其重于说理为一特点。至于他和女儿灵照游戏自在的情节，配合其诗偈中全家习禅的描述，不仅成为后代佛门居士向往的模范，也转而成为戏曲宝卷文学着墨的题材。
