陈鉴之，初名璟，字刚父，闽县（今福建福州）人。宁宗嘉定间漫游京口、临安间。理宗淳祐七年（一二四七）进士（清乾隆《福建通志》卷三五）。倪守斋知新安，多有唱和。今存《东斋小集》一卷。事见《两宋名贤小集》卷三三一。 陈鉴之诗，以汲古阁影宋抄《南宋六十家小集》本为底本，校以《两宋名贤小集》本（简称名贤集）。
