天马二首·其二译文及注释
译文
天马从西方极远之处来到，经过了沙漠之地。众多的少数民族和外国都降服了。天马出自水中，长有双脊，皮毛颜色像老虎一样。天马能变化，如同鬼神那样灵异。天马穿越千里，迅速越过无草的区域，在辰年来到东方。将驾着天马，高飞到遥远的地方，无可限期。天马既来，开通了上远方之门，可以上昆仑山去会神仙了。天马既来，龙也将来，可以乘着龙登天门，去观赏上帝住的地方了。
注释
徕：与“来”相通。
出泉水：汉人以为千里马是龙种，所以几次获得骏马，都说是出自水中。
虎脊两：指马有双脊梁，皮毛颜色如同老虎。
化若鬼：指天马能任意变化，如同鬼神。
无草：这里指没有草、不生长草的地方。
循：顺着，沿着。
执徐：指日期。太岁在辰曰执徐。这里是说天马在辰年来到。
将摇举：将奋翅高飞。
竦：同“耸”，高高地飞跃。
龙之媒：这里是说天马是神龙的同类，现在天马已经到来，龙就一定会来了。后人因此把骏马称为“龙媒”。阊阖（chānɡ hé）：天门。玉台：上帝居住的地方。

汉武帝刘彻（公元前156年－前87年），西汉的第7位皇帝，杰出的政治家、战略家、诗人。刘彻开拓汉朝最大版图，在各个领域均有建树，汉武盛世是中国历史上的三大盛世之一。晚年穷兵黩武，又造成了巫蛊之祸，征和四年刘彻下罪己诏。公元前87年刘彻崩于五柞宫，享年70岁，谥号孝武皇帝，庙号世宗，葬于茂陵。
