金陵城东是谁家的女儿，偷偷听碧纱帐里悠扬的琴声。
她像天上的一片落霞，跟随情人一起渡过西江的流水。
用吴语唱楚歌，声娇字不正，似能非能最是有情。
谢安正要邀请东山妓女，携着手在林泉间畅游。
注释
金陵子：即是金陵妓。
西江：西来的江水。《庄子·外物》：“我且南游吴越之王，激西江之水而迎子。”后人因此泛称吴越之地的江水为西江。
要：同“邀”。东山妓：东晋名士谢安每游东山，常以妓女相随。
示金陵子创作背景
此诗作于唐玄宗开元十四年（726年）。李白游金陵时，倾心于金陵子，因此写作这首缠绵而富情致的诗，赠给她，并寄托了自己的心愿。

示金陵子鉴赏
这是一首七言古诗，共八句。前六句专写金陵妓。开头两句，诗用行人“窃听琴声”发端，琴声自“碧窗里”传出，表明弹琴的人是女子，琴声能引来行人窃听，可见琴声悠扬优美，弹琴的人技艺娴熟。这两句描写金陵城东的歌妓善弹古琴。以一片落花喻指金陵子，形容她好像仙女，气韵不凡，自天而降落人间，随人们一起渡过西江水，来到金陵。“楚歌吴语”二句，描写金陵子富有情致：金陵子能唱楚歌，她操一口吴侬软语，娇滴滴未成腔调先有情。李白《出妓金陵子呈卢六四首》：“小妓金陵歌楚声。”李白对这位才艺、容貌双全的歌妓曾倾心过。他写的诗句“我亦为君饮清酒，君心不肯向人倾”（《出妓金陵子呈卢六四首》其四），透露过这个消息。
最后两句，诗人以摅写自己的心迹结束全篇。他借用晋朝谢安的典故，喻写自己的意愿。谢安旧时隐居于会稽东山，后来居住金陵，他便筑土山以比拟东山，常携妓纵情游赏。李白的《东山吟》也写过这则典故，他在题下自注：“去江宁城三十五里，晋谢安携妓之所。”诗云：“携妓东土山，怅然悲谢安。”这首《金陵子》结句与《东山吟》意义类似。“谢公正要东山妓，携手林泉处处行”，诗人正邀约金陵子，携手在林泉佳处游赏。谢安志在东山，李白志在林泉，诗意故作放旷，而不满现实、退隐青山之志，隐然可见。魏颢《李翰林集序》记载李白的事迹：云：“（太白）间携昭阳、金陵之妓，迹类谢康乐（按，谢灵运封康乐公，魏氏误以谢灵运为谢安），故世号李东山。”
摹写歌妓，如果着意于容貌、服饰和纤秾艳丽的色彩，必流于平庸。李白却用宕逸轻灵之笔，清新洒脱的语言，形容金陵子的才艺、气韵、情致，不落俗套，情意缠绵。结句切金陵城，借用谢安典故，比喻自身意绪，就地起兴，喻意恰当，妥贴自然，更增添了诗篇的超逸神韵。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
