译文
听说佳人佩带过双凤共衔的绣绶带，单薄穿着代替薄绡也不碍事。夜晚的香不知为谁而烧，帐然望着珍贵的香木烧烟袅袅上飘。
如云集的鬓发在风前被卷成绿圈，如玉白的脸面醉酒以后而泛起红晕。不要白白度过这嗔爱的良宵，月亮和美人是共同美好的。
注释
闻道：听说。双衔凤带：双凤共衔图案绣的绶带。
不妨：不碍事。单著：单薄穿着。鲛绡（jiāo xiāo）：鲛人织的薄绡，纱质薄而价贵。
夜香：古代妇女晚时祷神烧的香。与：为了。阿谁：谁。
水沉：又名水沉香。放在水中能沉。古人烧它，其烟气甚浓甚香，以示敬意。
红潮：红晕。
莫教：不要让。可怜：可爱。沈玄机《感异记》：徘徊花上月，空度可怜宵。
僚（liáo）：通“嫽”。美好。《诗经·陈风·月出》：“月出皎兮，佼人僚兮。”

西江月·闻道双衔凤带创作背景
《西江月》约作于宋英宗熙宁六年（1073年）春。是时，苏轼在太常博士直史馆杭州通守任上。目睹宋朝官妓、歌妓或是家妓的红颜薄命，甚是同情，曾作许多诗词以怜悯之。

西江月·闻道双衔凤带鉴赏
这首词写一女子在窗前月下遥望所爱，和《月兔茶》主题和意境近似，可以称之为姊妹篇。
上片写薄命佳人的美貌及寻春求佛的情景。春天来临，春心欲动。开头两句写改浓妆为淡妆，改一般装为贵重装。从旁人的口里得知“双衔凤带”装束本来超出常人水平，但薄命佳人还是改换成了“鲛绡”贵重薄衫。一可显示身姿美，二可标志身价高。第三、四句写烧香拜佛，祈祷神灵。烧上珍贵的水沉香木，如痴如醉，“怅望”“烟袅”。不言自明，是让菩萨保佑她寻找到一位青春美的心上人。而其所爱已“双衔凤带”，另有他欢。东坡十分重视将外界事物作为词的信息之源泉，激发词思之触媒，表达词情之载体。“双衔凤带”。“单著鲛绡”，“夜香”“水沉烟”，以我观物，以物观我，情以物迁，都打上了青春情爱的印记，富有艺术魅力。
下片写薄命佳人向往与心上人共度良宵的心态。开头两句写美丽的容貌。鬓发美如云集似的，风卷绿发如画；颜面美如玉白似的，酒醉“红潮”如花。一头黑发，一张红脸，是女子的招牌，所以东坡特写得如此唯妙唯肖。不言自明，为的是去会见青春美的心上人；为的是心上人一见倾心，十分喜爱她。第三、四句写薄命佳人的寻春、度良宵的心态。“莫教空度可怜宵”，好一个“可怜宵”。光阴无情，人生易老，把握良宵，及时行乐。“月”是美好的，“佳人”是美好的，花好月圆，美上加美，然而心上人久待不至，她的美梦难以成真。东坡十分重视通过丰富的想象，将自然界的明月化为有情而动心的知音，变成男女双方心心相印的桥梁，以寄托薄命佳人的情思，让这种情思充满着浪漫主义的美学色彩。
全词，上片先写薄命佳人的良苦用心，改装，拜佛，回答“与阿谁”的问题；下片再写薄命佳人的虔诚心态，惜时，望月，以实现共度良宵之美愿。中国古代的薄命佳人都美丽、善良、可爱，有强烈而炽热的爱情追求，所以从心底吐露出“莫教空度可怜宵，月与佳人共僚”的虔诚心愿。

苏轼（1037－1101），北宋文学家、书画家、美食家。字子瞻，号东坡居士。汉族，四川人，葬于颍昌（今河南省平顶山市郏县）。一生仕途坎坷，学识渊博，天资极高，诗文书画皆精。其文汪洋恣肆，明白畅达，与欧阳修并称欧苏，为“唐宋八大家”之一；诗清新豪健，善用夸张、比喻，艺术表现独具风格，与黄庭坚并称苏黄；词开豪放一派，对后世有巨大影响，与辛弃疾并称苏辛；书法擅长行书、楷书，能自创新意，用笔丰腴跌宕，有天真烂漫之趣，与黄庭坚、米芾、蔡襄并称宋四家；画学文同，论画主张神似，提倡“士人画”。著有《苏东坡全集》和《东坡乐府》等。
