宝檀金缕鸳鸯枕，绶带盘官锦。夕阳低映小窗明，南园绿树语莺莺，梦难成。
玉炉香暖频添炷，满地飘轻絮。珠帘不卷度沉烟，庭前闲立画秋千，艳阳天。

译文
粉红色的鸳鸯枕上雕刻缕金，华美的衣带束住华美的宫锦。夕阳似是有意，在我幽暗的小窗前光临。南园里的绿树上，一对黄莺柔情蜜语，唉，我再也难以入梦见你。
玉炉香暖，我还是频频添香，窗外柳絮轻扬飘荡。屋里尘烟弥漫，我却仍是不卷起珠帘。秋千在庭前闲立如画，唉，真是辜负了这一片艳阳天。
注释
宝檀：此处是指珍贵的檀色。
绶：古代系帷幕或印纽的带子。《周礼·天官·幕人》：“掌帷幕幄帟之事。”郑司农云：“绶，组绶，所以系帷也。”贾公彦疏：“绶者，条也，以此条系连帷幕。”
宫锦：原指宫中所织的锦绸，此指五彩帷幕。
频添炷：多次加燃料。炷：此处指参有香料的燃料。
轻絮：指柳絮。
沉烟：沉香所燃之烟，味香。

唐末五代时人，字平珪，高阳（今属河北人），一作南阳（今属河南）人。年十四，登进士第。已而入蜀，从王建，官翰林学士承旨，进文思殿大学士，拜司徒，蜀亡，随王衍降唐。未几，复事孟氏，与欧阳烔等五人以小词为孟昶所赏。《花间集》称毛司徒，著有《前蜀纪事》《茶谱》，词存三十二首，今有王国维辑《毛司徒词》一卷。
