译文
散开秀发，披着一肩云霓，看镜中的容颜如玉。细细地描画粉黛，抹去眉间愁迹。团扇轻轻地摆，遮住欲吐的心语。垂下绣帘，难掩满脸羞意。
我曾久久地伫立楼前，希望看到你的踪迹。你为何还不来相会，叫人难忍花庵空寂。但愿有一天，我们将乘凤凰携游仙海，到那时再也不要别离。
注释
女冠子：原为唐教坊曲名，后用为词牌名。又名“双凤翘”。双调四十一字，上片五句两仄韵、两平韵，下片四句两平韵。
霞帔（pèi）：古代妇女的一种服饰，类似披肩，以纱罗制成。其形状如彩虹绕过头颈，披挂在胸前，下垂一颗玉坠子。因其有云霞样花纹，故名。道家常著此帔，故亦以“霞帔”称道士服。云发：像云一样的鬓发。
钿镜：用金、银、玉、贝等贵重物品镶嵌的妆镜。
愁眉：古代女子画眉样式的一种，此眉妆细而曲折，色较浓重，眉梢上翘。
遮语：以扇子遮着脸说话，言其害羞的情态。
羞：王国维辑本《金荃词》作“笑”。
玉楼：传说中天帝或仙人的居所。此指女道士所居之处，一说指女道士女伴所居之处。
花洞：百花遍开的仙洞，道教称神仙及道士的居处。此指女道士所居之道观。
乘鸾：指成仙。鸾，仙人所乘坐的鸾凤之类。
遗：遗弃。彊村本《金奁集》作“违”。

女冠子·霞帔云发创作背景
《女冠子》原为唐朝歌咏女道士的教坊曲。温庭筠素以风流多情著称，相传他与女道士鱼玄机长期保持着亦师亦友的关系。鱼玄机貌美才高，却年纪轻轻就死于命案。或许为鱼玄机之死所触动，温庭筠根据唐教坊曲《女冠子》自度新曲，创作了《女冠子》词，借写女道士来言情。其创作时间未得确证。

女冠子·霞帔云发鉴赏
这首词是借写女道士的容貌、情态与动作来言情的，表面看起来全是铺陈其外貌妆束，其实词人是用物象的错综排比手法把客观的景物展现在读者面前，让读者运用自己的想象把它们贯穿起来，从而理解人物。
此词上片写女主人公美丽的容貌和含羞多情之态。“霞帔”三句，写女主人公彩霞般的披肩，云一般的鬓发，镶金的镜子里，出现了她如雪洁净的容貌，她对镜正画着略带愁意的蛾眉。这里以一个“愁”字点出女主人公的心情。“遮语”二句，描写女主人公遮语、含羞、回扇、下帷等神态动作，生动地表现出她心事重重却又欲说还休，情思萦绕却又含羞掩饰的情态。下片写女主人公的相思相念与绵绵情思。“玉楼”二句，写女主人公望GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人早日来到。意思是站在玉楼上盼望已久，恨GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人来迟，道出其相思之切。“早晚”二句，直道心曲，写女主人公的愿望：自己迟早总要乘鸾而去，希望GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人不要遗弃。
上片用的都是相当于现代电影蒙太奇小景别的手法展现景物，镜头自背后从下而上，先是让人们看到女主人公的服饰“霞帔”，然后是如云的黑发；之后镜头切换到照镜子的场景，也是一个特写，人面与镜像相映衬；之后又是另一个正面近景，女主人公轻转罗扇，遮住因窃窃私语而微微翕动的双唇，好像是怕被人听到，娇羞地走到窗前放下绣帏。下片写女主人公的期望。这里，就不是单纯的景物铺陈，而是人的服饰和外貌的客观呈现，但它也需要读者根据想象，在头脑中把这些画面串联成一个连续的情景，感受人物的心情，体会词人所要表达的感情。结尾直道心愿，其依恋之情，一往情深，相思之意，真挚感人。

温庭筠（约812—866）唐代诗人、词人。本名岐，字飞卿，太原祁（今山西祁县东南）人。富有天才，文思敏捷，每入试，押官韵，八叉手而成八韵，所以也有“温八叉”之称。然恃才不羁，又好讥刺权贵，多犯忌讳，取憎于时，故屡举进士不第，长被贬抑，终生不得志。官终国子助教。精通音律。工诗，与李商隐齐名，时称“温李”。其诗辞藻华丽，秾艳精致，内容多写闺情。其词艺术成就在晚唐诸词人之上，为“花间派”首要词人，对词的发展影响较大。在词史上，与韦庄齐名，并称“温韦”。存词七十余首。后人辑有《温飞卿集》及《金奁集》。
