译文
你夸九江通塘的风光好，甚至胜过会稽的若耶溪。
通塘在什么地方啊？就在九江的西边。
青藤绿萝，袅袅依依，高挂碧树；沙洲堤上，白鹇翩翩，时起时落，聚集在一起玩耍。
下游江岸陡立如石门，上游堵出一片平湖，水波荡漾；百丈深的金潭映照着天空的云彩和太阳。
那里来的神仙般的钓鱼翁，和着敲船棹的节奏唱着优美的渔歌，趣味不凡啊！
正是相逢不相识，来回通塘都绕道走，不愿意与俗人交往。
更美的是：江边沙洲旁一双白皙的双脚在清澈的水中嬉戏，哈，原来是一位浣纱的妙龄女郎。
细细围着绿潭转了个圈，潭水变得越来越清幽，就像是传说中武陵源的碧水清流。
那渔翁就像秦朝人与鸡犬一道生活在桃花源，若把通塘与桃花源比较，桃花源也要害羞。
去了通塘就不想回家，去十次、九次都是玩到很晚才回家。
偶尔遇到如此佳境，怎么不叫人陶醉万分？忽然有一只鸟从天边飞来。
明媚的月亮也出山了，好给游子照亮回家的路，秋风劲起，四周的苦竹也唱起送别的歌声。
遥望天上的星河，我们唱起阳春白雪，坐在船舷，把双足垂在清波中拨弄白浪。
那古代的隐士梁鸿隐居在会稽的时候，恐怕也不知道此地有如此美景如此乐事吧？
注释
⑴卢侍御前有《通塘曲》，太白作此和。侍御，官名，即侍御史。《新唐书·百官志·御史台》：侍御史六人，从六品下。掌纠举百僚及入阁承诏，知推、弹、杂事。
⑵耶溪：即若耶溪，溪名。在浙江绍兴市若耶山，北流入运河。相传为西施浣纱之所。
⑶寻阳：即浔阳，唐代郡名。今江西九江市。
⑷袅袅：也作“嫋嫋”，柔弱貌。
⑸白鹇：鸟名。又名银雉，似山鸡而白色。《尔雅注》：白鹇似鸽而大，白色红脸，可爱。
⑹沧浪翁：即沧浪老人，指隐者。
⑺鼓棹：划桨行船。
⑻浦：水边。
⑼武陵：秦汉郡名。即今湖南常德。因桃花源在武陵，故代指桃花源。
⑽秦人二句：谓桃花源比不上通塘。晋代桃花源里的人，都是避乱的秦人的后代。“鸡犬桃花里”，是桃花源里的景象。
⑾迟回：徘徊。
⑿行子：出行的人。
⒀白雪：即《阳春白雪》，古代高雅的民歌，后一般指高雅的文艺作品。这里誉称卢侍御的《通塘曲》。
⒁梁鸿句：《后汉书·逸民传》：（梁鸿）遂至吴，依大家皋伯通，居庑下，为人赁舂。每归，妻为举食，不敢于鸿前仰视，举案齐眉。伯通察而异之，曰：“彼庸能使其妻敬之如是，非凡人也。”乃方舍之于家。德耀，梁鸿妻孟光字。按：梁鸿依皋伯通之吴，当时尚无“吴郡”之称，其地隶属会稽郡。

和卢侍御通塘曲鉴赏
全诗可分为五段。前四句为第一段，接过卢侍御《通塘曲》“通塘好”的话题，总言通塘好，并指出通塘所在。青萝四句写通塘的人物活动。钓翁，都是隐者，鼓棹、渔歌，志趣不一，互不交往，互不相识。
浣纱女郎，足肤鲜白，在清水的映衬之下，格外好看。以上是正面实写。行尽四句为第四段，言通塘可与武陵的桃花源相媲美，甚至超过桃花源。
前二句说通塘湖面碧流幽静，疑是桃花源的溪流；后二句说，桃花源里鸡鸣犬吠的景象甚至比不上通塘之美。这是侧面虚写。“通塘不忍别”等十句写诗人游览通塘的感受。前二句说游通塘不忍离去，徘徊犹豫。
偶逢四句写偶逢佳境而心醉。佳境即：鸟从天来，月出山青，风吹竹响。这些都透露出通塘的“幽”来。长吟四句诗人说自己口诵着卢侍御的佳句，眼望银河，足拨清波，心情无比舒畅，想到梁鸿和其妻孟光当年在会稽过得那么和谐愉快，但也比不上自己游通塘这么快乐。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
