东鲁范山人抱着求仙的愿望，告别我又要回到泰山。
入山群岩如片雪，山路杳在青崖间。
过去南天门，日观峰即可登攀。
多少云山可望不可及，此去不知何时回还？
注释
鲁客：指范山人。
鲁客抱白鹤：据《抱朴子》载：“欲求仙革，入名山，带灵宝符，牵白犬，抱白鸡，以白盐一斗及开山符檄著大石上。”《续博物志》又载：“学道之士，居山宜养白鸡、白犬”。这里说“鲁客抱白鹤”，既寓有求仙学道之意，在形象上又比“白鸡”、“白犬”更美。
杳：远。
天门：指泰山的南天门。《初学记》引《泰山记》云：“盘道屈曲而上，凡五十余盘。径小天门、大天门，仰视天门，如从穴中视天窗矣”。
日观：日观峰。在泰山玉皇顶东南。为岱顶观日出处。“旭日东升”为岱顶四大奇观之一。

送范山人归泰山创作背景
范山人，李白在东鲁时的友人，名字、生平不详。李白诗中有《寻鲁城北范居士失道落苍耳中见范置酒摘苍耳作》之范居士，杜甫诗中《与李十二白同寻范十隐居》之范十，与此范山人可能同为一人。此诗为李白辞朝归东鲁时所作。

送范山人归泰山鉴赏
“鲁客抱白鹤，别余往泰山”，范山人自身的色彩本不鲜明，但诗人让他“抱”上一只“白鹤”，这样就引人注目了。于是，李白的目光随着这片白色的行进向泰山移去。“初行若片雪”，了然在目；“杳在青崖间”，距离远了，看上去更小，但因为出现了青色（“青崖”）作为衬托，仍很清晰；“高高至天门，日观近可攀”，更高了，更远了，更小了，这时，诗人又巧妙地使用红色（“日”暗藏着红色）作底，所以还依稀可见；最后，“云生望不及”，“白鹤”终于被飘浮的云朵遮住了，范山人的身影看不见了，伫立送行的诗人不禁油然而生惆怅之情：“此去何时还”？
此诗完整再现了初唐送别诗三部式的结构。首先，诗人用首联“鲁客抱白鹤，别余往泰山”介绍了送别事件以及友人的去处。其次，诗人用中间两联按时间顺序进行风景的描写，友人离开初期是接下来是最后，诗人用尾联抒发别情。从诗人对这一片白色的依依不舍的目送中，直到“云生望不及”，表达出李白对范山人的一片深情。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
