译文
春光明媚的济南城，雪后的天色刚刚放晴。骑行到龙山镇中，顿觉马蹄轻盈。李太守千万不要忘记霅溪畔的歌女，她曾不时地唱出令人肠断的《阳关》歌声。
注释
阳关曲：词牌名。创自王维（依《词谱》说），由“西出阳关无故人”之句而得名（王维诗作《送元二使安西》，后入乐府，用为送行之歌，反复诵唱，称为“阳关三迭”）。单调小令，平韵格。
李公择：即李常，时任齐州（今济南）知州。
龙山：济南郡城东七十里的龙山镇。
霅（zhá）溪：水名，在今浙江湖州境内。
阳关肠断声：引用李商隐《赠歌妓二首》之一：“断肠声里唱阳关”。

阳关曲·答李公择创作背景
宋神宗熙宁九年（1076年）十二月，苏轼罢密州任，赴河中（今山西永济），任祠部员外郎直史馆。途中遇大雪，停留潍州（今山东潍坊市）。宋神宗熙宁十年（1077年）元旦，苏轼再从潍州出发赴任，到达河中后，苏轼的朋友李常以诗相迎，苏轼以该词作答。

阳关曲·答李公择鉴赏
一、二句写雪后初霁，济南在望时的心情。将到济南时，见到大雪之后初次放晴，苏轼心中豁然开朗，不由赞叹济南的春光美好。苏轼刚到济南城东六十里处的龙山镇，便感到马蹄轻快了。这两句是即景而兼即事，并且通过对周围环境的描写以及旅况的叙述，传达出轻松、欢快的心情，而这同即将与友人李常相见是分不开的。“马足轻”，应是从王维《观猎》诗“雪尽马蹄轻”一句变化而来，既关合自己风雪载途的旅况，与前句“雪初晴”相照应，又是借物写人，体现出人的轻快的心情，所以显得自然入妙。
三、四句重提旧事，写当年湖州歌女送别的深情，并提醒李常不要忘怀。其所以如此着笔，一是因为李常来齐州前，曾任湖州知州，而苏轼于宋神宗熙宁九年（1076年）。由杭州赴密州任时，又曾过访李常于湖州，往事历历在目，记忆犹新。第二，此处写歌女（其社会身份是歌妓）送别，与唐、宋时代特殊的文化背景有关。写歌女临别时极度伤心（“肠断声”），带有夸张的成分，因而又成为苏轼、李常二人之间的戏谑之辞。第三，苏轼借写湖州歌女伤别，来表达自己的怀友之情。这是一种“请客对主”的写法，歌女尚且如此，何况苏轼别后怀思。而且提到湖州歌女，也会勾起李常对旧日会面与交往的联想，而使友谊的温馨油然而生。

苏轼（1037－1101），北宋文学家、书画家、美食家。字子瞻，号东坡居士。汉族，四川人，葬于颍昌（今河南省平顶山市郏县）。一生仕途坎坷，学识渊博，天资极高，诗文书画皆精。其文汪洋恣肆，明白畅达，与欧阳修并称欧苏，为“唐宋八大家”之一；诗清新豪健，善用夸张、比喻，艺术表现独具风格，与黄庭坚并称苏黄；词开豪放一派，对后世有巨大影响，与辛弃疾并称苏辛；书法擅长行书、楷书，能自创新意，用笔丰腴跌宕，有天真烂漫之趣，与黄庭坚、米芾、蔡襄并称宋四家；画学文同，论画主张神似，提倡“士人画”。著有《苏东坡全集》和《东坡乐府》等。
