译文
山形如同盘龙绕去又绕回，闲云野景簇拥高耸的凌歊台。
夜来明月照着离宫高高下下，帝王走过的车道白天也无人往来。
春天的景色不会随同亡国消逝，山花依然像当年一样绽开。
断碑埋没在茫茫的荒草里，年年风吹雨淋又长新绿苔。
注释
次韵：和诗的一种方式，从所押韵脚来看，有可能应和的是许浑的诗。凌歊（xiāo）台，位于今安徽当涂县的黄山顶上，据说南朝宋刘裕曾经路过此处，并在此地建造高台，即凌歊台，后来宋孝武帝刘骏即在此建避暑离宫。
离宫：皇帝正宫以外临时居住的宫室。
辇（niǎn）路：即帝王车驾所经过的路。辇，本是人推挽的车，秦汉后特指君后所乘的车。如帝辇、凤辇等。

次韵登凌歊台创作背景
这首诗应作于元至顺三年（1332），当时萨都剌从翰林国史院应奉文字迁为江南诸道行御史台掾史，南下任职，五月又曾北上至京城，秋天再返回金陵（今江苏南京）。此诗具体创作于这几次南来北往的旅途中的哪一次，难以考证。诗人登临凌歊台引发怀古的幽思，于是创作了此诗。

萨都剌（约1272—1355）元代诗人、画家、书法家。字天锡，号直斋。回族（一说蒙古族）。其先世为西域人，出生于雁门（今山西代县），泰定四年进士。授应奉翰林文字，擢南台御史，以弹劾权贵，左迁镇江录事司达鲁花赤，累迁江南行台侍御史，左迁淮西北道经历，晚年居杭州。萨都剌善绘画，精书法，尤善楷书。有虎卧龙跳之才，人称燕门才子。他的文学创作，以诗歌为主，诗词内容，以游山玩水、归隐赋闲、慕仙礼佛、酬酢应答之类为多，思想价值不高。萨都剌还留有《严陵钓台图》和《梅雀》等画，现珍藏于北京故宫博物院。
