折桂令·游金山寺译文及注释
译文
高高的佛寺横空出世，直与浓云相傍。这里曾有神龙幻形前来听讲，还有从远道渡江到此的西域和尚。
游人置身于玉洁冰清的世界之中，忆起东坡留下玉带和诗篇的佳话，听那寺塔的金铃阵阵作响。
树影出现于长江的江心，摇碎了波面的月光。夜半的江涛，隆隆地震撼着崩坏的崖壁，势不可挡。
昔时曾有军士拿江岸水冒充南泠水的情况，可笑如今的吴人，早已把《茶经》遗忘。
注释
金山寺：又名龙游寺、江天寺，在镇江长江中的金山上（金山至清代方与南岸毗连）。
绀（gàn）宇：佛寺，佛寺多以绀色琉璃作屋顶。
听法神龙：北宋庆历间金山寺毁于火，寺僧瑞新发誓重建。相传有神龙化为人形前来听法，显身潜入金山下的龙潭，寺僧因得布施钱百万。元释明本《题金山寺》：“龙化楚人来听法，手擎珠献不论钱。”
冰壶：喻洁净的世界。
诗留玉带：据宋范正敏《遁斋闲览》及《金山志》记载，金山了元佛印法师曾与苏轼参禅，苏轼赌败，留下玉带永镇山门。《苏轼诗集》卷二十四有《以玉带施元长老，元以衲裙相报，次韵二首》的诗作。
中流树影：唐张祜《金山》：“树影中流见，钟声两岸闻。”人以为传出金山的特色。
误汲南泠：唐陆羽精于茶事，世称茶神。湖州刺史李季卿命军士汲取长江南泠水，煮茶请陆羽品尝，陆羽说茶瓶上半是江岸水，下半才是南泠水。召来军士一问，原来他们因汲得的水在舟中晃出了一半，所以临时在江岸边汲水补入。事见唐张又新《煎茶水记》。南泠，一作南零，在镇江附近的长江中心，陆羽品其水质为天下第七，《煎茶水记》则品为第一。
吴侬：吴人。

折桂令·游金山寺鉴赏
小令入手擒题，以三句写出了金山寺宏伟的外观与富有宗教色彩的精神内质。“苍云”是实景，又暗用《宝雨经》“乘苍云来诣佛所”的佛教语言；“听法神龙”、“渡水胡僧”，则呈示了寺内的宗教气氛与巨大的感召力。龙、僧对举，当是受唐张祜《题润州金山寺》“僧归夜船月，龙出晓堂云”名联的启示，但在曲中更见形象。以下三句鼎足对，则度入了“游金山寺”的“游”。尽管与作者形象直接关联的仅出“人立冰壶”一句，但“诗留”、“塔语”，也间接反映出诗人观景、怀古乃至诗兴遄发的景象。而此三句中，又进一步表现了金山寺的风物特色与文化内涵。这一切都从“风神”落笔，自觉气象不凡。
“摇碎月”一联为细染，对象为“树影”与“江声”。值得注意的是，诗人的写景突破了时间的限制，将眼前的实像都转移至夜间表现，这是为了取得更为完美、典型的艺术形象效果。从前文的“苍云”、“冰壶”来看，作者的游览已近黄昏，这就为他进一步驰骋想象提供了条件。树影中流、江声撼崖，置于夜半“碎月”之中，更添一种苍莽悲郁的风调。作者的襟怀茫远、心潮澎湃，也于此间反映了出来。
末三句的“误汲南泠”云云，看似无端，实为眺望南岸所见景观的联想。时值黄昏，南岸人家汲水回家，一片熙熙攘攘的生活情景。他们的“汲水”是为了应付日常的需要，自然“不记《茶经》”，曲中的这一笔便点出了这一实质。然而，金山寺的游览却激起了诗人的无穷雅兴，所以要“笑煞吴侬”了。这三句巧妙地借用典故，为这快游的满足心态画上了句号。
由此可见，借景见情、借物象见游兴，是该曲在内容表现上的特色。而为了达到这样的效果，全曲锤炼字句，尤以活用典故、成句见长。这种活用，又表现在虚实相兼上。所谓实，即属于本地风光，如“听法神龙”、“诗留玉带”、“中流树影”、“误汲南泠”，其故实在注释中已予解释。所谓虚，即典故虽非金山寺所自有，而其意蕴却有助于实景的印证。如“渡水胡僧”，令人联想起达摩一苇渡江、杯渡和尚借杯渡水的宗教故事；“塔语金铃”，令人联想到《晋事·佛图澄传》中佛图澄闻塔铃而知寓意的典故。这一切，都有助于烘染金山寺作为释教胜地的氛围和气象。

张可久（约1270～1348以后）字小山（一说名伯远，字可久，号小山）（《尧山堂外纪》）；一说名张可久肖像（林晋生作）可久，字伯远，号小山（《词综》）；又一说字仲远，号小山（《四库全书总目提要》），庆元（治所在今浙江宁波鄞县）人，元朝重要散曲家，剧作家，与乔吉并称“双壁”，与张养浩合为“二张”。
