舟过谢潭三首·其二创作背景
孝宗淳熙七年（1180年），诗人从家乡吉州（今江西吉水县）赴提举广东常平茶盐任，在溯赣江途中经谢潭。诗人叹其江山画卷，天赐风光，故作《舟过谢潭》组诗。

舟过谢潭三首·其二鉴赏
写荒江舟行所见草青芦白的景象。起两句写夹江百里的荒寂与江流的弯曲。赣江上游，地当大庾岭北，相当荒僻，“百里没人家”的情景自是纪实。正因为荒寂无人，江流又弯弯曲曲，就更感到寂寞难耐，故说“最苦”。三四两句，转写寂寞旅程中所偶然发现的两种异时而并存的自然景象：“岭草已青今岁叶，岸芦犹白去年花。”诗人这次南行，是在春天。山岭上朝阳的一面，今年春天的草叶已经返青泛绿，而近岸的水边，芦苇还残留着去年秋天开的白花。春草秋芦，异时而生，在通常的概念与印象中，是不可能同时出现在一个地方、一个画面上的。但大自然中却真实存在这种新故相映的景物。诗人敏锐地发现了，并感受到大自然毕竟丰富多彩，于是将它们毫不费力地描绘出来，不加任何说明，因为它们本身就含有无限的诗趣。
