译文
江面平，雪早晴，风已小，我住着竹杖像被人呼唤着登临吴山。在其上近处楼台亭阁都披上了银装，笼罩在浓重的寒色之中，尚不见半点桃红柳绿的痕迹。远处的山峦一半罩在云雾之中，一半被白雪覆盖，山上的草木也都不见了。
故人稀少的清寒，让我想起了多少往事！寂寞孤独，朝朝暮暮，我吟梅花自遣怀。我将花插于帽上，向着吴山山头，仰天长啸。忽然地看见远方斜阳，霞光映照雪山明丽发光。
注释
齐天乐：词牌名，又名《台城路》《如此江山》《五福降中天》。
筇（qióng）：竹杖。
酽（yàn）寒：犹严寒。
越峤（qiáo）：泛指江浙一带的山峦。
沍（hù）：同“冱”，冻结。
晋时棹（zhào）：指王徽之夜雪访戴之事。《世说新语》载：晋王徽之居山阴，夜雪初霁，月色清朗，忽忆戴逵，遂乘舟访之，至门而返二或问其故，曰：“乘兴而来，兴尽而返，何必见戴。”
第一峰：指吴山，在今浙江杭州。
玉龙：指雪。张元诗：“战罢玉龙三百万，败鳞残甲满天飞。”

齐天乐·吴山望隔江霁雪创作背景
题中吴山为杭州名胜之一。作者在登临吴山，眺望钱塘江对岸雪后放晴的景观时，生出对友人的怀念之情，所以写下这首词。

上片写江南雪景。“瘦筇如唤登临去，江平雪晴风小。”开头二句写登临的兴致和原因。“如唤”二字下得好，表现出词人的逸兴豪情。“江平雪晴风小，”说明正是登临观雪景的好时机。“湿粉楼台，酿寒城阙，不见春红吹到。”这三句写登临所见的近景。“微茫”三句，是登临所见远景。这一带峰峦相属，有瑞石山、宝月山、峨嵋山、浅山、金地山等。“为问”二句，由景入情，忽然怀念起友人来了。作者化用王徽之雪夜访友这个典故。王子猷访戴是因雪景兴之所之，又同在越地，因此词人化用这个典故，表达期待友人来访，或趁雪后去拜访友人，都很贴切。借用这一典故，一方面表现了对友人的思念之切，同时它又表现了词人登临观雪霁时的逸兴豪情，很有些疏狂豪放的意态。
下片主要抒情。“清愁几番自遣，故人稀笑语，相忆多少！”三句，承接上片，写对友人的忆念。因听不到朋友亲切的笑语，惆怅之情萦绕于怀，竟至难以排遣，可见情谊之深厚。接着“寂寂寥寥，朝朝暮暮，吟得梅花俱恼”三句，进一步写思念之苦。梅花常于雪天开放，它是春天的使者。古代文人赞赏梅花的气节风骨，常常相携赏梅、咏梅。因此梅花又是友谊的媒介和见证。文人常以梅花为题寄托友情或离愁。南朝陆凯寄范晔诗云：“折梅逢驿使，寄与陇头人。江南无所有，聊赠一枝春。”南宋姜夔《暗香》词云：“叹寄与路遥，夜雪初积。翠尊易泣．红萼无言耿相忆。”“吟得梅花但储”可能是从姜夔词境化出的。“俱恼”者，人与梅皆烦恼也。无知的梅花与人一样，也为离别而愁绪满怀，这同“红萼无言耿相忆”如出一辙，“将花插帽，向第一峰头，倚空长啸。”词人故作豪情，登高呼啸，以排遣因离愁所造成的郁闷。宋代朱敦儒《鹧鸪天·西都作》词云：“玉楼金阙慵归去，且插梅花醉洛阳。”“将花插帽”盖脱胎于此。它紧承“吟得梅花俱恼”句，突然宕开一笔，由抑郁转向疏狂，拓展了词境。南宋初，金主完颜亮南侵，声称欲“立马吴山第一峰”。“第一峰”之名由此而得。词人登临吴山，便是身在第一峰头，正是金主完颜亮当年望尘莫及之处。这里特地点出“第一峰头”含有自夸豪壮的意味。这“将花插帽，向第一峰头，倚空长啸”三句，将词人疏狂的意态刻画得淋漓尽致，情貌毕现。结尾二句，“忽展斜阳，玉龙天际绕。”诗中“玉龙”喻雪神。后人常以玉龙喻雪，也借喻雪山。清代张四科《大雪宿盘豆驿》词云：“天际玉龙夭矫，一片荆山弄寒色。”即把玉龙比作雪山。“忽展斜阳，玉龙天际绕”，点明了“望隔江霁雪”的词题。词人忽见斜阳穿破云层，洒下一片霞光，把远处的雪山映照得明丽动人。这幅雪山夕照图，境界阔大，色泽艳丽，气韵生动，恰又衬托了词人的逸兴豪情。以景语作结，词境更为蕴藉。
总观全篇，由景人情，再由GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人景。词以登临观雪景起笔，以雪山夕照收结，首尾一体，紧扣词题。上片主要写景，下片着重抒情，而景与情的转换过渡自然，又互相映照渗透，熔景与情于一炉。尤其下片“将花插帽”数句刻画词人疏狂豪放的形象，虎虎有生气，简直呼之欲出，更为词篇增色。较之一般触景伤怀的吟唱，风格意境迥然有别。

厉鹗（1692-1752），字太鸿，又字雄飞，号樊榭、南湖花隐等，钱塘（今浙江杭州）人，清代文学家，浙西词派中坚人物。康熙五十九年举人，屡试进士不第。家贫，性孤峭。乾隆初举鸿博，报罢。性耽闻静，爱山水，尤工诗馀，擅南宋诸家之胜。著有《宋诗纪事》、《樊榭山房集》等。
